We are all on a discipleship journey and we always have a next step to take. Water Baptisms
Baptism is a sign of a changed IDENTITY. Baptism is a public demonstration of your salvation. In the waters of baptism you are symbolically passing through Christ’s death, burial and resurrection and entering into a new measure of life in God. Through this process we supernaturally receive newness of life, a life that can be lived for the glory of the Father.
Holy Spirit Baptisms
Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit… you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you . . . Acts 1:4-5
The Holy Spirit is the third divine person of the Trinity, whose ministry is to bear witness of Jesus. The Holy Spirit gives the power to live and share the abundant life which Jesus promised to all who trust and obey Him. We need the Holy Spirit for the “fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness and self control” (Galatians 5:22-23).
Serve
Serving is about making a difference. This is where we reach past ourselves and get involved in Kingdom purposes outworked through the local church. It is the giving of our time, talents and treasure to see more of His Kingdom come to Earth. We have something for everyone on Sunday.
